Perspective Drawing Tool
Perspective drawing is the technique artists use to represent three-dimensional spaces on a flat surface. By placing vanishing points on a drawn horizon line, artists can create the illusion of depth, distance, and scale. Our perspective drawing tool supports three modes; one, two, and three-point perspective.
One-point perspective uses a single vanishing point centered on the horizon line. All receding lines converge toward this point, making it ideal for hallways, roads, railway tracks, and interior rooms viewed straight-on. It is the simplest mode and a natural starting point for beginners.
Two-point perspective places two vanishing points at opposite ends of the horizon line. This mode is used for objects and structures viewed at an angle, like buildings, city blocks, and furniture. It is the most commonly used perspective in architectural drawing and urban sketching.
Three-point perspective adds a third vanishing point above or below the horizon line, introducing vertical convergence. This creates dramatic effects such as towering skyscrapers seen from street level or aerial views looking down on a scene.
Our digital perspective drawing tool lets you experiment with all three.
Toggle between one, two, and three-point perspective modes, or upload a reference photo to trace and deconstruct the geometry and lines hidden within the real world.
With a “magnetic snapping” feature, your lines automatically align to your vanishing points, making every stroke you sketch aligned to perspective.
