Ambient Noise Sound Mixer for Focus & Relaxing
How to Use the Ambient Noise Sound Mixer
This tool is a white noise generator designed to help you relax and focus on creativity. It generates six distinct audio channels that you can mix together to create your perfect background atmosphere.
If you prefer to listen to structured classical music, the classical streaming tool on my music hub is relaxing and can be paired with the ambient light tool.
Getting Started
- Power On: Click the large blue START ATMOSPHERE button at the bottom.
- Audio Check: This tool generates sound in real-time. Make sure your device’s volume is turned up.
Quick-Start Presets
If you don’t want to adjust settings manually, click one of the preset buttons at the top:
- 🌧️ Rainy Day: A blend of heavy rain, stream, and wind sounds.
- 🎯 Focus Mode: Combines “Pink Noise” (Fan) with Binaural Beats to block out distractions.
- 😴 Sleep: A softer mix of rain and ocean waves.
- 🌊 Ocean Breeze: Heavy on the ocean and wind channels.
- ✖ Clear All: Instantly resets all volumes to zero so you can start fresh.
Mixing Your Sound (The Channels)
You have six vertical sliders. Drag the blue dot up to increase the volume of that specific sound, or down to silence it.
- Rain: High-pitched, constant static, mimicking rainfall.
- Ocean: A deep, rolling noise that fades in and out like waves.
- Stream: A constant, mid-tone rushing water sound.
- Wind: A low, howling sound that modulates over time.
- Fan: A steady, mechanical “white noise” hum.
- Focus (Binaural Beats): This channel plays two slightly different frequencies in each ear (200Hz and 204Hz) to create a pulsating 4Hz “Theta” wave.
- Note: To get the full effect of the Focus channel, you must wear headphones. The difference between the left and right ear is what creates the brainwave entrainment effect.
The Visualizer
The bar graph at the top is a real-time frequency analyzer. It shows you the “color” of the noise you are generating.
- Blue/Green Bars: Represent the volume of different frequencies (low bass on the left, high treble on the right).
- Smart Saving: If all volume sliders are set to 0, the visualizer will stop drawing to save your battery life.
