The Moon appears at its true phase and position, along with all five naked-eye planets. Every star is placed at its precessed coordinates for that night, not at its generic catalog position. Our chart is a true record, and if you ever check it against the sky, it will hold up. Our methods and the independent review are published, so anyone who wants to check the arithmetic can do so.

Ask how it was made

Many sellers say their charts are accurate. Ask them which software they use, which star catalog, and whether the planets are computed for the hour. A seller should be able to answer easily. Our answers are published, along with an astronomer’s signed review.
